By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply.

2. Purpose of the App

Mithaq is a marriage-focused application designed to help individuals find a life partner in a respectful, safe, and Sharia-compliant environment. The App is not intended for casual dating or any purpose other than serious marriage seeking.

3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

To maintain a safe and respectful community, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Posting offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive content
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
• Sharing explicit, sexual, or inappropriate material
• Impersonation or creating fake profiles
• Scamming, fraud, or any deceptive behavior
• Using the App for any illegal purpose
• Spamming or sending unsolicited commercial messages

4. Account Enforcement

Mithaq reserves the right to:

• Suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms
• Remove any content deemed inappropriate or harmful
• Investigate reported users and take necessary action
• Cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required

Users who are banned may not create new accounts. Circumventing a ban may result in legal action.

5. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you share on the App, including profile information, photos, and messages. By posting content, you grant Mithaq a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

Mithaq does not claim ownership of your content and you may delete it at any time by removing it from your profile or deleting your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, designs, and software associated with Mithaq are the intellectual property of Mithaq and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mithaq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the success of matches, or the behavior of other users. Mithaq shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

You acknowledge that you interact with other users at your own risk and that Mithaq is not responsible for any offline interactions between users.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes for a limited period.

9. Apple Standard EULA

If you downloaded Mithaq from the Apple App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies to your use of the App, in addition to these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
